For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a teacher! I attended San Jose State University and graduated with English and Math majors. We married in college and I was lucky to stay home with my two sons until they reached middle school and high school. It was then that I went back for my teaching credential. I received my teaching credential from Cal State East Bay and began teaching in Concord. I taught first grade for 9 years before coming to San Ramon USD in 2004. I returned to school to earn my Reading Specialist Certificate, while teaching at Twin Creeks Elementary. I joined Mrs. Loflin in opening Quail Run Elementary in the fall of 2005. I have taught first grade and kindergarten-first grade combination classes. Teaching is an amazing journey!
