Welcome to grades 4 and 5. I love Quail Run! This is my fourth year teaching at QR and each year is better than the last. Prior to coming to Quail Run, I taught Resource in Livermore; I have also taught kindergarten and third grade. I have a BA and Master's Degree from CSU East Bay and I received my teaching credentials from St. Mary's College.

I have lived in the San Ramon Valley for many, many years. Mr. Mearns and I have raised our three children with the help of great teachers in the district. Two of our children have graduated from college and the youngest is a sophomore at Boise State. We love living in San Ramon and can't imagine living anywhere else.

My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my kiddos make progress and gain confidence and hearing them laugh at my jokes. We work hard and we play hard.

My perfect day consists of sitting at the beach in Maui with a good book. I also love snow skiing, history, traveling and running. The thing I dislike the most is dusting.
