Mrs. Marcis in First Grade

This is my fifth year at Quail Run, but I have been teaching for over 30 years.  My husband and I moved to San Ramon from San Diego, where I taught in the Poway Unified School District.  I have also taught in Plano, Texas, and in Oklahoma City.  We have two grown daughters, one who works as an engineer in Dallas, and another who is an engineer for Stryker Endoscopy in San Jose.  I love teaching and believe that it is my job to help my students reach their potential while bringing joy and excitement to learning.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, walking in nature, reading mysteries, and traveling.  I feel so fortunate to be teaching at such an amazing school with such dedicated and talented teachers.
