G.A.T.E.
The Gifted and Talented Program is integrated into the regular classroom. GATE cluster classrooms are provided in grades 3 - 5. These classrooms provide differentiated instruction for students throughout the school day, in a variety of subject areas. Leadership roles are encouraged when appropriate in the classroom and in Student Leadership activities. A school/parent GATE advisory committee assists in organizing additional enrichment activities. Parent and teacher GATE representatives attend district meetings.
